Because Flexsure® is so easy to
work with, even the biggest jobs
become manageable.
Flexsure fits around any obstacles.

The confederated tribes of Siletz Indians operate a housing program whose overall mission ensures that low income tribal members have the opportunity to obtain housing that meets his/her needs, is affordable, and provides a safe, healthy living environment. They recently incorporated a solar hot water heating system, including FlexSure Solar Tubing.

Challenges

  • Tubing had to fit and contour around the tight corners to reach the hot water heaters
  • Rigid piping would take hours to work with and install
  • The sheer size of the job – 20 panels on a row of townhouses

Solutions

  • Flexible tubing could fit around any obstacle without the hassles of cutting and threading copper pipe
  • FlexSure eliminated the time necessary to cut and thread copper pipe and the need for 90° elbow fittings

Benefits

  • Continuous runs allowed for bending around corners and obstacles
  • Pre-insulated tubing saved time and money
  • Tough cover will stand up to installation conditions
